SD Kenshu

Lolz....just come back to SD. This time I am in the ASD ("A" Levels Student Division). They accepted me as a private candidate...so touched. I was so grateful to them, because from what I know, they should by right only take in school candidate, but they take me in because for a greater cause - human happiness. That means one more life can learn from SD.

Today I go SD Kenshukai after my english tuition. Was quite late and missed Mr Chan's lecture...so sad. After that, individual institution did their presentation. ASD's didn't get much applause, but we get the biggest in the end because I THINK we really managed to potray the spirit. There were talks and forums by Kah Keat and 2 other SD leaders, very enriching. Dinner is served and thereafter we did evening Gongyo. At night there were individual dialogue with senior leaders, haha...

Haven't been attending any kenshukai for a long time, this is indeed one spirit enriching kenshu. Really wish to get to know the members and leaders in ASD, didn't really feel easy at times. Maybe as time goes by, the feeling will fade off. Way to go!

Wushu and ASD

Woke up early in the morning for special wushu training at Tampines with my wushu teacher. I thought that I would be late but still made it in time. Lolz... Aiya...wake up early sia... After that hardcore training I went to lunch with him.

In the afternoon, my elder brother brought me to the ASD meeting, I thought I would only stay for the Daimoku Kai, but yet I stay throughout the whole meeting, even helped them to devised some games. The ICs there are warm and friendly, I haven't got the chance to make friend with the members yet, as SHY is one of my personality. Hope to talk to them in the near future.

History of Chinese Literature

History of Chinese Literature, an AO subject, looks easy, but yet, the fact is different. It is an subject that requires you to study a (probably cease published) chinese history of literature book, which consists of 350 pages, for your examination. This is so difficult....my brain was badly overloaded due to this subject.

On this day, I take the exam. I only need to attempt to 5 questions. Haha...study so many just to answer 5 questions. I expected, but can't hold back myself to be surprised, that I was the only one taking this subject, I may even be the only person taking this subject as the subject is so rare and the book is hard to obtain.

I really wish that I will score in the subject and never have to study it again....

Arh!!! Why is there so many things to remember for History of Chinese Literature!! Have you ever try to remember a book that is around 350 pages for an exam. This is definietly hardcore, tomorrow the AO History of C Lit is starting, I wish that I can score. So tonight have to burn plenty of night oil. Challenging Sia...lolz....do I need to memorise this many things after entering NUS?

"A" Levels First Day

My first "A" Levels paper starts today, the paper was Chinese Language and Literature. The composition was completed however the I abandoned the summary at part 2. Literature paper was a killer, many tough questions but I managed to answer one by one. I almost finish it until time was up, last paragraph wasn't finish...what a waste. Well, I am happy with my performance today, I did my best, didn't give up.

Night time kor kor came visited me, he gave me a t-shirt and pants and chanted with me. So touched... Kor, if you see this xiao di likes to give you a Big hug!!! Yea!!!

Eve of "A" Levels Papers

Tomorrow the war will begin. The first enemy I will be fighting is Chinese Language and Chinese Literature. I will be a tough battle, but I will knock it down and fight it flat. I shall now be moved by the Eight Winds that was taught in Daishonin Buddhism and I will actualise that on tomorrow's exam. Watch me! High spirit all the way!!!

Good Day

Many good things happened today. In the morning I brought my STI control car to Metro for exchange, and they did change a good one for me, though the colour isn't what I prefered. Haiz...why no blue one...no choice...choose a white one then...lolz. In the afternoon I rushed to SYC for ASD study meeting. It was really a study meeting not to be missed. My potential IC De Qiang taught my how to mind map for my GP essay plan...really useful. I should have known him earlier. This will be a help to me in my essay writting.

In the evening, I talked to Ming Sheng by MSN. I decided to take him as my student and he agreed because I told him the various good points of haivng a teacher or shifu in your martial arts life (I said facts and didn't lie hor). So now Ming Sheng is my eldest student, follow by Kenn and Ming Hao. I really hope that 3 of them will help each other like blood brothers (despite 2 of them are already blood brothers). I promise myself to teach them to the best of my ability, regardless of martial arts or Buddhism faith as being a shifu is a heavy responsibility.

I am happy with what happened today, but then many things are just in the beginning. The road stretches far away to the horizon without knowing the end, or there may not even be an end, therefore we must strive hard. Wao...so literature.....lolz.

Daimoku Kai at Kenn's House and a Defected STI

The Golden Lion - Empyrean Thrillers today gathered at Kenn's house for exam Daimoku Kai. Guo Yao, Raymond, Pin Wen, Gilbert, Miao Long, Ming Liang and Me all went there to chant. Chanted for around 30 minutes with Gongyo. Some of them cannot concentrate and moved around...must improve.

Some of them played poker after the chanting...haha...and kenn's father even joined in, lolz... This is surely a rare scene; usually parents will stop children from playing poker but kenn's father did the opposite by joining the fun. What an up-to-date father.

I bought an Subaru WRX Sti control car before we go to Kenn's house. I lead the gang all around Tampines Mall and Century Square for my new toy, lolz...thanks guys. I shopped for the car like a kid entering a paradise full of toys. Haven't had this feeling for a long time. Haha.... But what irritates me is that...the car I bought is defected. Got scratches and one of the head lights can't function...what the heck!!! I'm gonna change it tomorrow!

De Biao Grandma's Funeral

Today is the second day (i suppose) of De Biao granny's funeral ceremony. The Golden Lion - Empyrean Thrillers gather at Tampines for dinner first before going to the ceremony. We took the opportunity to celebrate Gilbert's (our future chief and self proclaim 5th president of SGI) belated HOLY birthday. We talked lots of craps as usual and I laughed like crazy again...lolz... Mr X waving to us at the mrt platform.....hahahhahahhahahhahahahhahhahahhahahhahaahhahahhahahahahahhahahahhahahahhahahahhahahahahahahahahhahah

After the dinner, we proceeded to the ceremony and chanted for around 45 minutes. We went to TM again to walk walk and thereafter we went back home.

It was fun to have dinner with the guys, now laughing during meal time when eating with them is like a routine to me...but I love it...lolz...

Daimoku Kai at Miao Long's house with Amazing Race

F*** SIA!!! X2 and I were waiting at Bugis Station for quite a long time...I called M and he told me that they were still waiting at Bedok Station for X1. WTH, but then used to waiting already. I went off with X2 and his friend Edmund to walk around first. We wondered around; after an hour, X2 called them and he told me that they finally arrived. They finally came and I questioned them, but one replied something which pissed me off. As if they are still right for being late. I was totally in the state of anger, feeling injustice, not because of them being late as I will also be late for appointments sometimes, but for not calling me and indicating that they will be late. Making us wait there like a bunch of fools. But I still treasure the friendship (being angry due to waiting without knowing what happens is human nature), therefore I just try to forget it and letted the angry feeling faded away. Some of them apologised to me when they noticed something was wrong with me. Haiz...why why why....I give up already, I am not going to say anything about this anymore, already did what I could. Why am I being the one who wait the most, no more feeling, I'll just take my time in the future.

We went to Pasta Mania for early dinner and had our men's talk there, after that we went strolling around. P and G wanted to see guitars and I also wanted to have a look at western flute, therefore we decided to go Peninsula Plaza where there are musical instrumental stores. G, M and X1 decided to take the MRT as the journey was far, yet X2, P and I decided to walked due to some reasons. The Amazing Race Singapore began.

My group walked as fast as possible, on our way we even took photographs. It was a challenge against time and the other team, we have to get there before the other team reaches. We went through Brass Plaza. and passed by City Hall mrt station. Some of us even hit the pedestrians, it was a tough but fun race. Lolz... We won, we were the team that got there first. The other team came after around 5 minutes later. Nice try... We went window shopping for musical instrumental equipments.

At about 8 pm, the Golen Lion - Empyrean Thrillers gathered at Tampines mrt station as we were having exam chanting section that night at Miao Long's house. I went to collect my new mud spectacles and left for Miao Long's house. I never know that I look better in Mud spectacles than executive glasses. Lolz...

The group chanted for around 30 minutes and after that we had fun. Xbox and food were waiting for us. Well...Xbox game wasn't really that stimulating to me. Before we leave we took photos with our mud and thick spectacles. Lolz...it was great...first time almost everyone weared mud spectacles.

Ming Liang and I went back on the same bus. We talked about many things. After reaching Bedok, I went back alone.

Well...it was a fun day for me. Hope that no one needs to wait in the future, cause it is indeed a tedious task. Lolz... *Friends Forever* :)

Tuition Day with Deuce Bigalow European Gigolo

Today is busy, receiving and giving tuition all on the same day...day time receiving tuition for geography, management of Business and GP. Afternoon giving tuitions to my 2 students at different places.

Night time watched Deuce Bigalow European Gigolo...it was a nice show with full of dirty jokes....lolz.....................................................the cat bit the balls....lolz.......you should watch it yourself.

Tomorrow the gang is going to Bugis Junction before chanting...hope it will be fun and hope Pok Zai is ok now. Mix feeling, wish to study but also wish to go out with the gang. Lolz...

Today is still rainny. Parents went Malaysia for a short trip and I wasn't able to go due to the impending exam. I stayed at home to study, and went to Chin Kok house for Chapter Daimoku Kai. He requested me to chant an hour a day, and I wanted to take up the challenge.

Wet Study Meeting

Today Liang, Raymond, Gilbert and me studied together at TSC. Gilbert came first, follow by me, Liang then Ray. We studied and chatted at intervals, I thought that it was just another sunny Sunday, but it turned out to be a rainny one, the rain water was flecking at us, we were a little wet and had no choice but to go to the 3rd level to study. Oh boy...it sure was a nice place to study, we continue our school work there and also talk craps sometimes..

We left around 2:30 pm and went to do our Gongyo and Daimoku. After that, it was still raining, so we called Pin Wen to hire a taxi and fetch us...haha...the taxi uncle was galvanised when he saw Raymond's bicycle...but he was good enough to let him put his bicycle in the booth. We arrived at Century Square and Raymond chained his bicycle somewhere near TM.

The gang went Long John for lunch. We went for spectacles shopping and Raymond left us then. Each of us got ourselves a pair of spectacles, not only that the pair for Ming Liang was free as we bought him as a birthday gift.

Haiz...why I so poor thing, Ming Liang birthday has free spectacles but I had nothing, not only that I still have to blanja (malay: treat) the gang. :( But nevermind...I was happy that at least the gang was around when I was having my birthday. :)

Sleep half of the day

After teaching came home and slept for half of the day...actually sleeping can also be a boring thing...night time do C lit...hai...why so many things to memorise.... Well...looking forward to tomorrow's study group. Hope that Liang can cheer up and the team will pick up the spirit again. Feeling worry for our gang. :(

Exam Daimoku Kai at Gilbert's House

Wow!!! Today is another Golden Lion Daimoku Kai that I looked forward too. This time the venue was Gilbert's house. Met the Wee Brothers, Miao Long and Pei Quan at Simei Mrt; so sorry that I was the last one to arrive...despite that I didn't make them waited me for long. Must improve!!!

Thereafter, we went walking around in East Point, the Pet Safari had many cute animals for pets....I really wish to get a cat...and maybe a dog for pets, lolz... We strolled for quite long and bought breads to ease our hunger, finally Pin Wen and Gilbert showed up. The gang came to the food court for dinner...many yummy food again...though some of them are really sian (boring) to our tongues, but who cares, eat already then say! I came out with a joke that in the future, Empyrean Thrillers can accept performance for cash. The G2 will be charged at $100 and G2 is $200...Pin Wen so greedy...suggested $1000 for G1...Lolz...

We went walking after dinner and met Guo Yao. Then bought some snacks and Gilbert's House...here we come. We chanted for around 30 minutes and after that "Party Time". The Wee Brothers, Miao Long and I went to swim and they complained that the water was freezing...to my surprise, it wasn't to me. We heard a whistle by the security guard as Liang and I was on our way to the changing room. See lah, Miao long and Sheng did something with the skateboard beside the pool and we were questioned by the guards. However the guards were compassionate enough to let us go bath first. Thanks uncle, if you see this. If you want to know what happened next, come as us personally.

Well...after the swim, we went back to Gilbert's house and nothing much happened; but yet the rest of the gang wanted to play football. It was going down again. Before leaving Liang, Bert, Wen and I chatted in Bert's room, he sent us off after that and treated us with drinks. Thanks Bert.

Indeed another fulfilling day...lolz. Hm...where to have our next Golden Lion Daimoku Kai. Haha...this is the longest post that I ever write till now. Today G2 was full strength, so G1!!!, when is ours and when Golden Lion can have full attendance in Daimoku kai!!!???

Nothing Much

Nothing much today, had my English tuition and my teacher said that there was improvement in my essay, but yet, my essay is still not stable enough to obtain good result...very fanz leh....

After that, my turn to give tuition, I was happy to know that my student adopted my way while writting an story, haha...good good.

Tomorrow we most of the Golden Lion members are going to Bert's house for chanting...haha....haven't been gathering for a very long time. Wish that his house can take the amount of people. Before the chanting we are going to swim at the pool....wohahahaha....

Fulfilling Day

Today is a fulfilling day for me. I finally won a race over a Honda FF car with my Subaru Impreza WRX Sti, which looks precisely like the car below, on a tough route which I have been racing for the pass few days...it sure was a tough match. If you wonder I could drive, then think again. It all happened in my Initial D PS2 game, although I very like to drive in the future. >_<

In the afternoon, I studied geography, easy to understand but difficult to memorize. Thereafter I went to Golden Mill to collect my tuition fee, and went to give tuition until the evening. I was so happy when my student told me that her teacher praised with a "well done", after the oral examination. Yea...!! Had rice ball for my pre-dinner, yummy, but sian...gonna put on weight.

I was also delighted when I saw Liang written in his new blog that he appreciates me for organising the study group. Lols......

Today I got up early to attend GD Daimoku Kai...but I still late. >_< Thereafter I went outing with Benjamin for half of the day.

Had our breakfast (his 2nd breakfast, my 1st) at Century Square and he dirty his t-shirt with Mi-Siam gravy. Lolz... We strolled around in the shopping mall, he fixed his handphone at the Nokia Shop. In the afternoon we went swimming...he did more than 20 laps, power sia! I was there playing with the water, haha...

We had our lunch at the 7-11 coffee shop, talked about Initial D and cars (never know that he is a fan of cars) and then he sent me to Tampines Mrt.....then it's Mp3 and I all the way.

Haha.....many things to write today....yea!!!

The Golden Lion (Team "Empyrean Thrillers") had chanting today, for the success of our examinations. We chanted for around 21 minutes, after that we had fun. Ming Liang's mother was very hospitable, she offered us with many food...and I really mean many (auntie, if you see this, I like to thank you once again :) ). We had chicken wings, and Pin Wen ate a lot, he piled up the bones and I was like...."What!?".

We played Play Station games among ourselves and Ming Hao. Nevertheless, Ming Hao still have to go through the routine of been bullied whenever Gilbert is around, no matter rain or shine. After realising that the time is not at our side, we left the place; but before that, we took many pictures, formal and....lame ones....haha.....

There wasn't any MRT train for me, gilbert lend me $5 volluntarily. I was touched by his kind gesture and decided to treasure this friend for life. In the end, I decided to take a risk of waiting for the bus at around 12 mid-night, hoping there was either 31 or 28 which will bring me home. I waited for long and chanted in my heart, my effort was paid off...a 28 came at 12:18 am and brought me home....haha...the money was saved from taking a taxi.

I had my dinner with my martial arts teacher today at Paya Lebar, we had Japanese food....yummy....haha...got tricked by the photo advertisements. The food seems so less, but the Sushi was good. We discussed about many things, about me, about Golden Lion, about Pin Wen and about Ming Liang and lots of staffs. I hope to represent my country in the 2008 Olympic, taking part in taiji (if Olympic approves Chinese Martial Arts as one of the events). Haha...way to go.........!!!

Accompany My Elder Brother

Today i accompanied my elder brother to my tuition agent at Golden Mill. It was my first time seeing my Kor Kor in army uniform...haha. I was sitting near them when my elder brother was interviewed....it was similar like mine. Well, I guess interview for tutor are almost the same. Thereafter we had dinner together with my potential sister-in-law and her sister. Went home alone...why I always the person being the poor thing.... Sianz.... >_<"

The Myth

I now officially proclaim that "The Myth" will be my favourite show among all Jacky Chan's films. I just went to watch the show today, personally there is only one word to discribe it: "good". Well...although I seen such similar plot before, but Jacky made the old plot lively, other than that, the music is a fine combination to the movie.

I really recommand people out there to watch the show, don't even worry if you have to watch it on weekends and spend your $9.50 - because it's worth. Hm...I wonder what was I during the "Qing Dynasty"? Lolz...

Golden Lion Meeting

We had our Golden Lion meeting this morning at Tampinese Soka Centre (TSC). Many ICs attended the meeting and we discussed our concerns for the Golden Lion. We will be training on Northern Lion soon in the impending days; Kaven told us that many lion dance troops have already abandon the unique Northern Lion Dance, and we Golden Lion is going to embark on the journey of resuming the culture.

Other than that, the recruitment of YWD is still a question yet...(so YWD out there who wants to join the Golden Lion, sorry to tell you that you still have to wait patiently).

We went to have our lunch at KFC after the meeting...well, then it's another outing for us again.

Youth Peace Conference

If you think that I decided to go to the 5th Youth Peace Conference, the you are right...but no prize...wohahahaha.....

It was indeed a fruitful section; the speaker was Pro Amitav Acharya - the Deputy Director and Head of Research at the Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The topic was "Peace and Human Security in a Globalised World".

I learnt that globalisation already began hundreds or thousands of years ago during the Dynasties period of China as the country then was dominant. I also realised that globalisation could get rid of poverty and unfairness, however globalisation also has it's shortcomings, like spreading disease fast through closely linked networks.

Ray, Liang, Bert, Miao Long and I went to the conference, we were expecting to see Pin Wen dancing, but yet we missed....want to know why..ask Ray...haha... Pin Wen yaya(ly) did a back somersault in the dance....haha...well...all of us will do it next time together then no more one man show liao..haha >P

Just came back from the movie "One More Chance". This is a local movie that portrays the lives of those ex-convicts. Besides the brotherhood they forged during their incarceration, their helplessness and despair that was brought upon by the received views of society were displayed. Indeed, we as a humans should be generous enough to give them one more chance; not only thinking about their position, but also reminding ourselves to live upright. Haha...wow....did I just typed what you see??

25-9-05 golden lion training and ASD meeting

Only 6 people (excluding our senior leader guo yao) attended today's golden lion training. although not much of people there, the training was still fruitful... Zheng lao shi showed us his skill of the chan tai-ji; i'm so interested that i like to learn it also. Not only that, he shared what he had seen during his recent china trip for the international wushu judge course. The standard of taiji nowadays is getting higher and higer, i intend to do taiji after next year's competition, so i guess i have to train on those higher skills now.

As for pin wen and ming liang...they trained their double broadsword. Pin Wen told me and Liang that he was too shy to approach zheng lao shi for more guidance. The 2 of us did our part by encouraging him to be more bold, and he decided to try, lolz...

In the afternoon, kor kor brought me to the ASD meeting held at Soka Youth Centre. It was a Daimoku section, some encouragements were shared after the chanting. I learn that after chanting Daimoku, our lives are "opened", "endowed with treasures" and "revitalised". There are much more things for me to learn in Buddhism fundamentals. I met one of the CICs De Qiang; well....he was friendly and welcomed me to the group. Hope to join them again, as the meeting is encouraging and the people at ASD are positive in spirit and cheerful...lolz...

Discussion Meeting of September

Well.....today is a boring saturday until the night begins. The topic of today's Monthly Discussion Meeting is "Contribution". Hm....very interesting.

I finally met my elder brother's new girlfriend today...a nice girl indeed and also looks like 梁静茹 (Fish Leong). She is a real estate agent who works near the my residence. My kor kor said she will take good care of me, lolz. She said that I look like the recent champion who emerged from the Idol contest (绝对 Superstar) －陈伟联 (Kelvin Tan); I was like....."what!? .....do I look like him?". Lolz.... >_<" Em.....everything can be view from another angle, maybe it may be something good after all. Haha... Haiz....when will my "her" says: "yes"???

Chanting Section for Exams and Specticals

This evening we (golden lion - empyrean thrillers) had our chanting section at Raymond's house. Ming Liang, Pin Wen, Gilbert, Raymond and I were chanting for the success of everyone's exam, thereafter we played with Gilbert and Pin Wen's guitars. Ming Liang and Raymond quite talented as they picked up the steps very fast.....poor me, I didn't really have an interest for guitar. Therefore I didn't really play well, lolz.

Well....I really wish to get my flute fast and also attend my flute course as soon as my "A" Levels ends. Pin Wen and Gilbert want to get themselves new spectacles, they suggested that Ming Liang and I also get a pair respectively, yet I decided to buy unless Ming Liang does so, as I want to save up for my flute and the course. Lolz... But then.....I also hope to get a pair of new (and "stylo" spectacles, because mine is old). >P Really hope that 4 of us can wear our new spetacles out together. Haha....

Today I almost got hit by bird shit while I was on my way to my student's house, that was so close. It must be the Daimoku that I chanted that bestowed me with good fortunes. >_<

Wow....just finished watching Channel 8 tourism show on Japan, really wish to go there with the members of the Empyrean Thrillers and have fun (also visit the Soka cultural centres there). Lolz.....really a nice country there, I visited it once many years ago and would like to set my foots there again. >P
